(Terell Wilkins | Reno Gazette Journal) – Brothels across Nevada will reopen for business this Saturday, the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered them more than a year ago.
Legal sex workers returning to the workplace are adjusting to new COVID-19 safety measures, such as masks and temperature checks. Hoping to encourage clients to return, some sex workers are also offering deals on their services.
Kiki Lover, who said she prefers to go by her stage name due to privacy concerns, is a legal sex worker at the Sagebrush Ranch east of Carson City. She is offering a discount to clients who visit her the first week that brothels are open again.

“I want to get people to visit so there will be a discount for my services for the first week,” she said. “I’m so excited to get back to work and want people to be excited about returning too.”
